Who is MASTER KNIGHT?

Hey, it’s Jason!

I’m a Colorado-based cinematographer, ATHLETE, AND TRAINING COACH. I’ve been shooting since high school, but it wasn’t really until college that I got serious about developing my vision and skills. Through my fated interactions with my closest friends/creative partners, the MASTER KNIGHT brand CAME into fruition. I’m constantly improving my craft, both behind and away from the camera. Each shot taken is never the same as the previous one!

I maintain a strong interest in applied science outside the laboratory, particularly exercise science and human performance. As a hybrid-modality athlete, I approach training and recovery through an evidence-based lens, focusing on physiology, workload management, and long-term performance optimization. This perspective reinforces how I think about systems, stress, adaptation, and sustainability in professional environments.

As a photo director I apply principles of optics, lighting physics, and color science to produce high-quality visual content. My approach to visual production is analytical and intentional: using light, composition, and contrast to communicate clearly and effectively.
